As a busy
mom of 8 kids, Cathy Yoder needed a way to put food on the table fast--several times a day.
She tried meal prep, delivery services, eating out, and more. Nothing worked. Meal prep required too much time in the kitchen. And the other options were too pricey for her deal-seeking nature. Cathy doesn't like to cook, so spending MORE time in the kitchen to solve the problem wasn't the answer.
That's when she heard about air fryers and eventually discovered she could make simple, delicious, and mostly nutritious meals in minutes. When her kids ate those first dinners without complaining, she had an "aha moment" that dramatically changed how she cooked and the trajectory of her business.
In 2020, with a house full of family members STILL needing to eat, Cathy used her smartphone to record videos of food cooked in the air fryer. Her kids tested and rated each recipe. Some even pitched in to help chop, mix, and measure. Cathy posted the videos and recipes on YouTube, and here we are.
She now has a family full of air fryer enthusiasts who often contribute recipes to the show.
Ironically, Cathy's reluctance to cook was an essential ingredient for building this thriving culinary business that helps people (like her) feel more confident in the kitchen. She is now widely regarded as "The REAL Air Fryer Queen" because she has tried nearly every air fryer on the market and cooked hundreds of recipes in each.
